eGroupWeb.com takes the security of our members' information seriously. You enter the site by entering a valid email address and password. You can edit the personal information held by eGroupWeb.com at any time by going to the "Your Details" area and editing your personal profile. You can also remove yourself from any Group at any time. As a Group Manager you can remove a Group at any time. This will delete all group information from our system.

eGroupWeb.com will not sell, distribute, or make available in any form personally identifiable information (ie. name, address, phone, or email) of any member to anyone. We do not ask for, collect, or store any personal financial information on this site. All payment information is processed and stored on PayPal's system and cannot be accessed through our system.

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control.

All Users are responsible for the safety of their personal information. We recommend that Users do not disclose their name, address, personal email address, telephone number or other personal information online to anyone requesting such information. eGroupWeb.com employees or appointed agents will never request such details online.

User Terms and Conditions

Please read these user terms and conditions carefully. They set out the terms under which eGroupWeb.com services are provided to you. By accessing the eGroupWeb.com services you agree to be bound by these user terms and conditions.

Registration

The details provided by you on registration are important and should be correct and complete.

You acknowledge that we have no control over content in eGroupWeb.com Groups. We cannot and shall not be held liable or otherwise responsible for the content of any Group using eGroupWeb.com. You agree to indemnify us and any eGroupWeb.com, employee and officer from and against any liability for any losses, damages, expenses and claims arising from your use of the eGroupWeb.com.

In particular, whilst eGroupWeb.com users are prohibited from distributing any information they obtain from an eGroupWeb.com Group outside that Group, we cannot guarantee that all users will comply with this rule, nor do we promise to police or enforce strictly this rule. We will not be liable for any loss (including loss arising through our negligence) that you suffer for any information you post to a private Group being used or distributed without your consent.

We do not engage in the screening of information submitted by users prior to it appearing on the eGroupWeb.com service nor do we exercise any editorial control over eGroupWeb.com Group. However, we reserve the right, but shall be under no obligation, to remove any such information at any time at our sole discretion and in particular, (but not limited to), any material which is offensive or unlawful and we reserve the right to terminate your use of the eGroupWeb.com service in the event that you place such material on eGroupWeb.com.

You acknowledge that we have no control over content in eGroupWeb.com Group. We cannot and shall not be held liable or otherwise responsible for the content of any eGroupWeb.com Group. By using the eGroupWeb.com service, you accept that we shall not be liable or otherwise responsible and agree to waive any claims against us for any distress, injury, loss, liability, damage and expense arising from or in connection with your use of the service, or its contents. This exclusion also applies to any loss, damage, liability, distress and expense arising from our negligence. You agree to indemnify us and any eGroupWeb.com employee and officer from and against any liability for losses, damages, expenses and claims arising from your use of these Groups or any content of the Groups which you post or create. You specifically agree that we are not responsible for or liable to you or anyone else for any threatening, defamatory, libellous, obscene, offensive or illegal conduct of any other party or you or any infringement of another's rights, including intellectual property rights.

We do not exclude any liability for death or personal injury caused through our negligence.

Your Obligations To Us

You agree that you will only use eGroupWeb.com in a manner that is consistent with these user terms and conditions and in such a way as to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. In particular:

  • You will not use eGroupWeb.com to transmit or post any material which is (or which we believe is) defamatory, offensive, obscene, menacing, hateful or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or which may, in our judgement, cause annoyance, inconvenience or anxiety to any person.
  • You will not post any information that constitutes an advertisement, encouragement or specific recommendation to trade in any specific share or security.
  • You will not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under non-disclosure agreements).
  • You will not post, email or otherwise transmit any material that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party.
  • You will not post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
  • You will not interfere with or disrupt the eGroupWeb.com services or servers or networks connected to the eGroupWeb.com service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the eGroupWeb.com service.

    • To the extent to which your use, or the use by any person who may be authorized by you or for whom you are responsible (for example, as the parent or guardian of a child or otherwise under these user terms and conditions) causes loss, damage or expense to any person (including us), you agree to indemnify us and any eGroupWeb.com, company, employee and officer from and against any liability for such losses, damages and expense

    Where applicable, you are responsible for maintaining the full and total confidentiality of your username and password assigned to you on registration. As a result, you are fully responsible for all activities which occur under them. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use to which you become aware.

    You are responsible for obtaining the equipment and paying all telephone charges necessary to access and use eGroupWeb.com. You are also responsible for making your own back-up arrangements of any important data that you place on the eGroupWeb.com service as although we maintain back up facilities for data on the eGroupWeb.com service, we cannot guarantee that these facilities are failsafe.

    Your use of eGroupWeb.com carries with it no rights in relation to copyright, trade and service marks or other intellectual property rights in eGroupWeb.com ("Rights"). You agree not to display or use in any manner the eGroupWeb.com trade and/or service marks or otherwise infringe the Rights. You agree that we can display images and text throughout the eGroupWeb.com service, including on any emails or within any other data processed by the eGroupWeb.com system. Any content contained in or presented through the eGroupWeb.com service by us is protected by our proprietary rights.     eGroupWeb.com allows you to participate in on-line communities where users can exchange information freely. You consent to participating in such an environment where it cannot be guaranteed that information you submit will not be reproduced elsewhere, including outside the eGroupWeb.com service.

    You agree that we are in no way liable for unauthorized reproduction or distribution of information that you submit to the service. Information you submit will be displayed on the service and can be printed out and distributed by users.

    You agree not to use eGroupWeb.com or the services made available to you on eGroupWeb.com such that you cause the whole or part of eGroupWeb.com to be interrupted, damaged, rendered less efficient or in any way impaired.

    We do not exclude any liability for death or personal injury due to our negligence.

    We respect the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that a copy of your work is available on the eGroupWeb.com service without your consent or that a copyright infringement has otherwise occurred, please supply us with the following information:

  • A description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed;
  • Details of where the infringing material is located on the eGroupWeb.com service;
  • Your address, telephone number and email address;

    Group Manager Terms and Conditions

    Please read these Group manager terms and conditions carefully, they form an integral part of the eGroupWeb.com Rules. They set out the terms under which you may act as a group manager of a eGroupWeb.com Group. By agreeing to become a Group manager on the eGroupWeb.com service you agree to be bound by these Group manager terms and conditions.

    Your Role

    You agree to be the Group manager of a eGroupWeb.com Group. Your role is to:

  • Decide on the subject matter and name of your Group.
  • Decide whether your Group will allow profane language.

    • We will not exercise any editorial control over your Group but we may remove any material that has been posted to a Group that we believe infringes the user terms and conditions although we do not screen information submitted by users prior to it appearing on the eGroupWeb.com service.

    Leaving

    You may cease to be the Group manager of your Group at any time by assigning Manager privileges to another Group member. The new Group manager will be bound by these same terms and conditions.

    Users

    You can increase the membership of your Group by inviting people to become members. New members will be sent notification of their invitation with details of how to enrol in the eGroupWeb.com Group they have been invited to join. You or they may subsequently remove them from the eGroupWeb.com service.

    User Rules

    You agree that by becoming a Group manager you also become a eGroupWeb.com user. You therefore agree that the eGroupWeb.com user terms and conditions apply to you, both in your capacity as a user and a Group manager. You will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the operation of your eGroupWeb.com Group does not breach the eGroupWeb.com user terms and conditions. It we believe that it does, we may close your Group without notice and you may be prohibited from being a Group manager again.

    Termination

    If you breach any of the terms of these rules, we may close your Group or re-allocate its management and you may be prohibited from being a Group manager again.
