Q: Adding a Welcome Message
How do I customize our home page?

A: Members with manager privileges can customize the Welcome Message. In the Your Groups section, click on the edit icon to the right of the group name. In the Welcome Message section you can add/edit text or images that will appear on the group's home page.

Q: Add Members to Your Group
I have created a group, now how do I add members to the group?

A: Members have to be invited to join a group. If you have the appropriate permissions you will see an Invite Members button in the Members area.

Q: Change Screen Name
How do I change my screen name?

A: You can change your screen name in the Your Details section.

Q: Change Password
How do I change my password?

A: You can change your password in the Your Details section.

Q: Change Email Address
My email address has changed. How do I update it on eGroupWeb.com?

A: You can change your email address in the Your Details section.

Q: Cancelling Subscriptions
How do I cancel my group's subscription to eGroupWeb.com?

A: To cancel your group's subscription you will need to have the person who created the subscription cancel it on PayPal's website. Subscriptions to eGroupWeb.com can be cancelled at any time.

Q: Enabling/Disabling Functions
I do not need or will not use all the features on eGroupWeb.com. Is there a way to control what features our group can access?

A: Members with manager privileges can control what features are available to your group. In the Your Groups section, click on the edit icon to the right of the group name. Under Manage Website click on the Edit Pages button. There you can show/hide the pages you want.

Can I assign other members manager privileges?

A: Members with manager privileges can assign manager privileges to other members. In the Members section click on the edit icon to the right of the member you want to grant manager privileges to. Click the radio button to the right of Manager.

Q: Monthly Cost
Is the monthly fee per group or per member in the group?

A: The monthly fee is per group. The monthly fee is paid by the person who creates the subscription for the group.

Q: Methods of Payment
Can I pay my subscription without using PayPal?

A: No, we use PayPal to process our subscriptions. We feel this is the most secure form of payment for our subscribers. By using PayPal we do not have any access to your financial information. You can use a variety of payment methods through PayPal.

Q: Member's Permissions
How do I control who can add/edit/delete information on the group's website?

A: Members with manager privileges can edit members permissions in the Your Groups section. Click on the edit icon to the right of the group name. Under Manage Website click on the Edit Permissions button. There you can set permissions for the various area of the website.

Q: Re-invite Members
I need to re-invite 4 people who can't access the site with the original invitation. Can you help?

A: Check in the Members area for an outstanding invitation for these people, if there is one delete it. Then use the Invite Members again.

Q: Storage Space
Is there an option to increase storage capacity and how much does it cost?

A: We do not offer additional storage space at this time.

Q: Subscription Periods
Do you have yearly subscriptions?

A: At the moment eGroupWeb.com only offers monthly subscriptions.

Q: Subscriptions for Multiple Groups
I have more than one group. Is it possible to pay for all my groups with one monthly payment?

A: We do not have the ability to do this. It would be difficult to keep track of this if you added additonal groups or deleted a group from the one payment.

Q: Subscribing to eGroupWeb.com
How do I subscribe to eGroupWeb.com?

A: Members with manager privileges will start receiving a message three days before the free 30 day trial period expires. They will have the option to subscribe for the service. If they choose to subscribe they will be redirected to PayPal's website where they can create the subscription.
